BAY INDOOR CENTRE is the only one of it's kind to the Bay of Plenty, offering Indoor Cricket, Soccer, Netball, Dodgeball, Sports Academy, Kids Birthday Parties and School Holiday programs.
The philosophy of BAY INDOOR CENTRE is to provide a clean, well maintained, professionally managed environment where groups of friends, families, school children or workmates can enjoy playing sport all year round for fun and fitness. We cater for one off events like kids birthday parties and office challenge matches or regular participation in coaching programs and various competitions for Indoor Cricket, Soccer, Netball, Dodgeball, and Youth competitions.
For our competitions it doesn’t matter if you are young or old, a serious high grade player, or a beginner looking to get started, because with hundreds of teams participating in graded competitions at convenient game times each week, you can rest assured that we are able to offer your team a fair competition irrespective of their ability and experience.
All activities organised by BAY INDOOR CENTRE are fully serviced by providing all necessary playing equipment, officials and a comprehensive competition management system. With our emphasis on customer service, no volunteers are required for any task - we do it all!

INDOOR NETBALL
The Netball action is fast and exciting at the best indoor netball centre in the Bay of Plenty
The key to the success of the indoor version of netball is the net around the court which keeps the ball in play at all times to ensure a fast, aerobic workout for all players.
Combining all the basic rules and skills of the traditional game with modifications designed to get everybody involved it is a great game for anyone looking to improve their fitness in a fun and exciting team environment.
GETTING STARTED...
It is all about enjoying yourselves socially. Here are some tips on getting a team together:
Don't try and gather an entire team before you register.
Get strong interest from 3 or 4 friends & register for a trial game, this sets a date to get started.
Encourage your friends to each recruit 1 or 2 of their friends for the trial game.
When you have played together under trial/beginner conditions you'll soon discover how much fun it is and the only problem you'll have is cutting back the numbers!

INDOOR CRICKET
Each of the eight or six players in a team bowl two (2) overs and bat in pairs for four (4) overs. it’s non-stop excitement. You can’t beat Indoor Cricket for a great night’s entertainment.
Played on a synthetic surface incorporating a full-length pitch, fully enclosed by netting, which allows for high scoring excitement with no delays. As in traditional cricket, the basic skills of running, hitting, fielding & throwing are the backbone of the game.
An innovative format and scoring system ensures equal participation by all players and continuous involvement.

INDOOR FOOTBALL
Indoor Football is fun, easy to learn and based on traditional outdoor sport.
The rules have been modified to allow for the fact that the game is being played not only indoors, but also within fully tensioned nets that add to the excitement and fast pace Indoor football offers in each game.
This great game emphasises running, passing and ball skills to provide a high energy, fast moving game. The goals are made of a good height to encourage high shots and the use of the header
Indoor Football will be running on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
